Talk Description

The purpose of this talk is to discuss the importance of digital wellbeing and how it can positively impact our health. Digital wellbeing involves taking care of our physical, mental, and emotional health by managing our usage of digital devices.

We will explore the role of digital wellbeing in managing our sleep, energy levels, immune function, mood, and overall health. Additionally, we will examine the potential negative effects of excessive device usage on our mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

One significant benefit of prioritising digital wellbeing is the opportunity to engage in real-life social interactions without distractions, which can be especially important during these unprecedented times. Moreover, digital wellbeing can unleash our creativity and help us develop stronger memory and learning abilities.

By taking steps towards digital wellbeing, such as limiting screen time, setting boundaries, and practicing mindfulness, we can improve our overall quality of life and promote a healthy relationship with technology.
