Talk Description
In this module, we will explore how to manage sleep-related issues that can arise due to stress and anxiety. Disruptions to an individual’s homeostatic system can result in changes to their sleep patterns. Therefore, it is important to understand the body’s triggers for sleep to establish a healthy sleep routine.
We will discuss the significance of getting at least seven hours of sleep for physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Additionally, we will examine how changes in eating habits can negatively impact the sleep cycle and explore ways to address sleep disruptions, such as waking up at the same time every night.
It is crucial to understand that a good night’s sleep can be the determining factor between failing or acing an exam. By implementing healthy sleep habits and understanding how to manage disruptions, students can ensure they are well-rested and prepared for academic success
